The President is Missing - Bill Clinton & James Patterson

"The President is Missing" is a new thriller by James Patterson featuring special guest author Bill Clinton! I have to be honest that I was excited when this book as first announced. I thought it was going to be filled with secrets only a president could know. Nothing obviously having to deal with state secrets or information like that but maybe bunkers, or special rooms in the White House.. Even if fiction it would be exciting to know that a real president had OK'd them being in the book. But the book was filled with nothing of that, and sadly the president never really went missing.

The story follows the President as he is having to deal with a series of attacks on the US. The attacks are unique as they are cyber attacks that could take down the entire United States. The story is very fast passed and is set to be turning into a TV series by Showtime due out later next year. To say this book was a let down is a bit of a reach. It was an interesting read but I wanted more out of it.
